2006
A Different Kind of DistributionFor the past two years, technical support has volunteered at Golden Harvest Food Bank's Distribution Center. The team gives up their techie hat for the day and instead, spends eight hours sorting and repackaging donated food items to help feed hungry families in the area.
2005
What’s Up at Habitat for Humanity?Ipswitch's What's Up development team joined together to help Habitat for Humanity by building homes in the Atlanta area. This team commits to helping with framing, carpentry, or site cleanup so that low income families find new hope in having a safe, affordable home.
2nd event to Fight Child Poverty
Our 2nd event to help fight child poverty attracted over 450 participants and raised more than $75,000 for Cradles to Crayons, Citizens Schools, Charles River Public Internet Center, CARE through the New England Women’s Initiative, The Boston Children’s Chorus, and Topf Center for Dance Education.

Business Partner ProgramsIpswitch and Unipalm were proud to work together to raise money and support The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, the UK's leading charity specializing in child protection.
1st event to Fight Child Poverty
We held our first annual Walk to Fight Child Poverty, Sponsored by Ipswitch, Inc., was a tremendous success! More than 350 participants raised over $50,000 for 6 nonprofit organizations. Hundreds of families enjoyed the three-mile walk, moon bounce, obstacle course, face painting, food, music, other games and fun characters.
2003
Ipswitch selected Child Poverty as the primary area of focus for our giving activities and announced a Community Relations mission to globally establish Ipswitch's giving program as bold, innovative, action-oriented, high-impact exemplar of corporate social values.Spring Into Service
Ipswitch was proud to donate for the second consecutive year to Youth Tech Entrepreneurs, a non-profit organization that develops student technology leaders. Ipswitch donated $100 every time someone signed up for a WhatsUp Gold training course and $50 for each WhatsUp Gold Service Agreement activation from April 15, 2003 through May 15, 2003.
2002
FTP-a-thonIn November and December of 2002, Ipswitch donated $1 to Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay for each domestic single user WS_FTP license that was purchased. As an active supporter of Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay the company has made cumulative contributions of more that $45,000 over the past several years. Several Ipswitch employees proudly serve as Big Brothers.
Spring Into Service
In April 2002, Ipswitch launched a Spring Into Service promotion. For each Service Agreement purchased by an installed customer during the campaign, Ipswitch made a donation equivalent to 10% of the purchase price to Youth Tech Entrepreneurs (YTE), a non-profit organization. Ipswitch donated $5,395 to YTE during the program and was recognized during a May fundraising event.
2001
Ipswitch incorporated the objective "to be socially responsible through philanthropy, community service and the ways we operate" and made a commitment to donate 5% of our profits annually to our community investment programs.Download-a-thon
In September of 2001, Ipswitch launched our Download-a-thon, a Web marketing event committing donations to a select group of non-profit organizations based on the number of people downloading evaluation versions of Ipswitch products from Ipswitch.com. The program resulted in $20,000 in total donations to community partners including The American Heart Association, The American Red Cross, The Child Welfare League of America, The Make-a-Wish Foundation and Oxfam America. 1999
Ipswitch launched a charitable giving program by donating $55,000 to eight organizations nominated by employees. Since 1999, our commitment to charitable giving has increased significantly. We have collaborated with customers and business partners on community based initiatives, engaged employees in a charitable giving survey and have been honored two years in a row by Mass High Tech as a Cybercitizen of the Year Award Winner.1991
Ipswitch was founded with the underlying objective to develop and sell software that makes the benefits of technology accessible to a broad audience.
